I may create a more serious "user page" here in the future. I'm not sure whether explaining a lot about who I am will help Wikipedia.
I'm also still reflecting on whether I want to make a big time investment in Wikipedia. The more time I spend here, the more I like it. But I wonder where the whole project will be in a couple years.... It seems policies to prevent people from using Wikipedia as a soapbox should be enforced more rigorously than they currently are. Otherwise, as Wikipedia articles continue to get higher and higher rankings on Google, there will be a greater and greater chance that people will exploit Wikipedia for personal gain.
Meanwhile, thanks to everyone I've so far met! Look forward to meeting more people, and learning more about Wikipedia. -H
