This account, ITU-T, is held by the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) of ITU’s Standardization Sector (ITU-T) – a non-profit organization in the UN-system. The account was primarily established to improve the article on ITU-T. We have no interest in operating in anyway contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia and have engaged with the community in order to ensure this. We believe that the edits are as objective as possible, accurate and taking into account the needs of the reader. We will also seek to provide additional accurate and solid information on other articles within the field of telecommunications which are closely related to ITU-T. Clearly we would encourage further improvements to the article and we are happy to discuss any related matter.

In order to answer recent criticism against the name of this Wikipedia account, ITU-T, TSB wants to clarify that there is one single user (in the TSB) participating in Wikipeda by means of this account. The name, ITU-T, was chosen in order to make clear that the user is acting on behalf of the ITU Standardization Sector (ITU-T).
