Jack Porter (18th May 1994-current day) is a British student, who was raised in the market town of Faringdon, in Oxfordshire. He is currently studying at Faringdon Community College Sixth Form. He is noted for pioneering the 'Hi-Vis' fashion look.

Jack was born from David and Karen Porter. He has two younger sisters named Beth and Meg. Both are also students at Faringdon. Throughout his early years he attended local schools, moving from Faringdon Infant School, through Faringdon Junior School, and then to Faringdon Community College. Whilst in infant school he was a slow starter, learning to read late and having little mathematical ability, once he was inspired to learn how to read, (by being read the popular Harry Potter books by his mother) he quickly picked up the skill, and has been an avid reader ever since. His mathematical skills, as well, have increased dramatically. When he was young he was deaf, but underwent an operation to have Gromits fitted, and can now hear perfectly well.

Jack studied for, and achieved his GCSE's in 2008-2010. He chose French, Drama, Media and Resistant Materials, as well as studying the compulsory English literature, English language, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Statistics, PE, RE, IT and Citizenship. He is currently studying for his A-Levels, taking Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Theatre Studies and Film Studies. Dependant on results he hopes to apply to the University of Oxford to study Mathematics.

Jack has grade A* GCSE's in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, an A in English Language, Statistics, and RE. He has a B grade in French, Drama, Resistant Materials, English literature, and PE. He gained a 'Freestanding Maths Qualification' from the UKMT (United Kingdom Maths Trust) to a Gold medal level. He also has multiple swimming badges.

Jack has been an active part of many local drama productions, notably with the Faringdon Dramatic Society. He has appeared in many local pantomimes, often taking one of the lead roles. He also took the role of 'Spencer' in his schools portrayal of 'Boogie Nights. This, he noted, was 'absolutely brilliant,' and 'so much fun.'

Jack introduced the 'Hi-Vis' look into Faringdon Community College in January 2008, and maintains the belief that someday it will 'go global, and make [him] a million.' The original jacket was first worn in December 2006, and since then Jack has had 3 different jackets.

Jack is currently dating Tamsin Emily Page-Maskell, and has been since March 19th 2011. He hopes to 'continue for a while at least'.
