Danny Bayne is 19 years old and was born in Kent. 

He took part in the ITV contest 'Grease is the word' to find the next Danny and Sandy.

On his audition he sang 'Sandy' and showed off a dance routine to judges: David Ian, David Gest, Sinitta and Brian Friedman to which David Ian said "You've got it all, you can sing, dance and act." 

Danny got through to the live shows where he was partnered up with Susan Mcfadden. Each week both of them received high praise from all the judges. Until a few weeks in David Ian announced some of the couples were not working so rearranged everybody, to which Danny was partenered up with Michelle.
Then David Ian announced there would be no more couples and they would compete for this prize on their own, in an all boy's and all girl's semi - final. Danny was competing against Michael, Danny R and Anthony. At the end of the evening Danny and Anthony were named to compete in a live showdown with the girls, Michelle and Susan.
At the end of the live showdown Danny was announced the winner along with Susan for winning the parts of Danny and Sandy.

They will start rehearsals for 6 weeks and then appear on the Picaddily Theatre, London in August. Jen6045 18:43, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
