Karxie Lyst Locsin is a fashion model and beauty queen from Bacolod City, Philippines. Crowned 1st Runner-Up Miss University Queen Philippines 2010 and Miss Teen Philippines winner. She competed in the tenth edition of the national Miss Tourism Philippines 2012 beauty pageant held in Quezon Province. As a beauty titleholder, she fulfills her duty as one of the spokespersons of the Department of Tourism, an environmental-social-humanitarian outreach arm of tourism beauty pageant.

Miss Tourism Philippines 2012

Miss Locsin joined and represented Bacolod City in the national Miss Tourism Philippines 2012, the largest and most widely participated beauty pageant in the Philippines with 49 official candidates participated in 2012[1][2][3] which was held at the Quezon Province,[4] participated by delegates representing various towns, cities, and overseas Filipino communities[5][6] held on April 11, 2012.[7]

In the final competition of the Miss Tourism Philippines 2012, she was announced as one of the 10 semi-finalists who moved forward to compete for the five titles. She achieved one of the five highest scores in the swimsuit and interview competitions for her stage chops and question and answer portion of the pageant. At the conclusion of the pageant, she won and was crowned Miss Tourism Philippines 2012. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Tourism Philippines 2011 titleholder, Kirstie Mae Limpin on April 11, 2012 in Quezon Province, Philippines.[5] Miss Locsin is 19 years old at the time of crowning and stands 5 feet and 7 1/2 inches in height with body measures of 34-24-34. She is a Medicine student at the University of Santo Tomas. She bested 48 other candidates in the beauty contest which is focused on the protection and preservation of Philippine Tourism. She also won the Best in Long Gown Miss Photogenic[Miss PAL]] Miss CreamsilkMiss Ever Bilena Miss Avon special award.
