The PSC Triengen was founded on November 9, 1958 at the Hotel Bären in Langenthal. Among others, Erich Grätzer and Hans Stucki launched the skydiving group at that time. In 1962, Erich Grätzer set as first Swiss record with 130 free-fall seconds. After different Homebases (Sisseln / Lommis) the PSC moved to Sitterdorf. With the opening of the Flying Ranch the PSC changed in 1970 Skydive operation to Triengen. In 1983, Switzerland was in Sun City (South Africa) with Blue Magic in the 4-Relativ-formation (also with PSC members) World Champion and Vice World Champion in the 8-Relative-formation. In the following years, the number of PSC members increased steadily. As late as the 1990s, the Para Sport Club was one of the strongest parachute clubs in Switzerland. First was a Piston Engine Porter PC-6 chartered by Henri Müller used, later a Cessna-206 (the legendary "O'Henry") was used. In 1981, with a new expensive propeller in hand and the finding that the ordered turbine for the C-206 does not fit, the PSC was in fact "forced" to buy its own aircraft (with piston engine). This was then converted to turbine thanks to member loans (about 290,000 francs) and bank borrowing (about 400,000 francs). The "Rainbow-I" and later "Mad-Max I" named Porter was later replaced by a "Mad-Max 2." Bob Gretler finally bought a new 10-seat H4-Porter after constant complaints from the public The PSC equipped its porter with a low-noise 4-bladed propeller in the early 1990s, and today's "Night Flight" is currently the only porter in Switzerland with complete IFR equipment.
