Joe Azzopardi (born 25th October 1991) is an English actor. He had a major role portraying ‘Sailor’ in the 2018 thriller film ‘The Boat’. He is the only cast member and the film has very few spoken lines.

Azzopardi other roles were in ‘The Count of Montercristo’ Jurassic World Dominion, 13 Hours, The Madame Blanc Mysteries and Roland Joffe’s Project Icon . Upcoming films are Terrence Malick ‘The Last Planet’ and Enola Holmes 3 directed by Phil Barrantini for Netflix.

Early Life and Education.

Joe Azzopardi was born in Liverpool, Merseyside in the United Kingdom to Karen (nee Sudbury) a Yoga Instructor and film producer Winston Azzopardi.

He wanted to be a professional stage actor since his school early school days often staying after hours for rehearsals. (List Pantos and school plays)

Azzopardi moved to London in 2010 and for the next 3 years attended Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts who’s President is Dame Judie Dench. He missed the final performance showcase in 2013 after being cast in the BBC production of ‘The Whale’ alongside Martin Sheen, John Boyega, Paul Kaye and Jonas Armstrong

On stage he was cast in My First Time, Citizenship. Young Seward in Macbeth, the titular role in Julius Caesar, Loftus in The Seduction of Almighty God, The Sex Comedies and William Trigg in Cressida
