Not much into writing about myself; sorry.
However, a few tidbits:
I've been in the computer biz since 1978, most recently with Sun Microsystems and Oracle since 1994, retiring in 2026. During that time I've worked on business applications, scientific applications, operating system internals, software maintenance tools, system administration, and probably other things I'm forgetting. I've worked on everything from microcontrollers (for fun), through palmtops (also for fun), PCs, up to mainframes. Hobbies include hiking and 3d printing.
I was born in 1961 and I have three kids, born in 1998, 2002, and 2004.
