The Sirnak massacre[1][2] occured on December 29, 2011, in the northern Iraq region, by the Turkey's government's planes, claiming to target terrorists. At least 35 civilians were killed. Kurds claim, the casualties were 50.[3] The New York Times asked if the Turkish leader Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a 'New Assad' dictator.[4]
