Hello, I'm Karl Ward. I'm from Texas, but I've spent the great majority of my adult life in New York City.

I started writing articles on Wikipedia after an airline security guard explained to me that the SSSS on my boarding pass meant I had to submit to intrusive security screening at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Then I started writing a lot of other articles, mostly biographies of people I've met or musicians I follow. My interests are, more or less:
