Spiritual Aspects

At Campion Academy they value spirituality greatly we are associated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. That is why they have chapels, vespers, and student body meetings. Every Wednesday the students gather twice, once in the afternoon and again in the evening. On Friday nights the students meet once at night for a weekend starting vespers. Every night but those two the individual dorms meet for a short worship thought.
There are many other ways the students become active, spiritually. From community service, peer ministries, SWAT (Students with a testamony), youth church, mission trips, to working as a Literature evangelist. Reaching out in the community is something that the church does well and involves students from Campion to be involved. Students do different things one of them being can collecting for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for families who can’t afford those items.
During the school year in Campion there are miscellaneous activities that are held, for example there is a week of prayer that happens twice a year. Week of pray is a week where the school asks a special guest to give a spiritual talk every day for week. During the year there are two separate weeks of prayers; one is held by a special guest while the other is held by chosen students. When they say chosen students they mean the whole student body chose 12 students to speak. During student week of prayer two students speak every night. There is also another spiritual activity that is planned by the student body, this activity is called JAM. JAM is and improv show led by a group of students and they do improve then end with closing of the Sabbath.
