Hi, my name is George and I'm officially a Wikipedian since the welcome of Redwolf24. My contributions are few right now and on diverse subjects. They're mostly related to my tendency to be a pedant but I will hopefully start making more significant content additions to existing Wikipedia articles, or even write a few new articles of my own!

Background

I was born on 7 March of 1976, in Athens. I have since lived in several places around Greece, eventually settling since 1988 in Patras. My family includes a great percentage of elementary school teachers (3 out of 5), but I somehow managed to drag myself into a computer-related profession and work as a computer programmer (software developer).

Open Source and Me

A FreeBSD hacker and long time Open source fan, who currently works a lot with Solaris systems too. I spend most of my spare time catching up with the latest developments in FreeBSD and have since a long time plans for completing the translation of the entire FreeBSD documentation set to Greek.
