KeyRocket is Windows software that recommends keyboard shortcuts while the user works on Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows Explorer. Developed by Veodin Software GmbH in Berlin, Germany, KeyRocket was launched out of beta testing on May of 2012 and it is available as commercial (subscription model) and non-commercial (free) versions. KeyRocket’s management team comes from a successful background of business consulting and software development.
Features
KeyRocket includes a database of over 1,700 shortcuts and supports Windows 7, XP and Vista operating systems, and an Apple OS X version is planned.
The program shows the keyboard shortcuts associated with a user's mouse movements to help learning them through small notification windows that appear in the bottom right of the screen. In addition, the software provides charts and graphs to track the user's progress. It shows the user the shortcuts they've used, those they've mastered and how many shortcut opportunities they've missed.
