Hobbies/ Interests
One of my favorite hobbies is fishing. "Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are normally caught in the wild. Techniques for catching fish include hand gathering, spearing, netting, angling and trapping."[2] I go fishing in Illinois and Wisconsin for bass, blue gill, pike, and catfish. The techniques I use for fishing are netting, angling, and trapping. I used netting and trapping when I am out on the lake fishing for bigger fish. I use trapping more towards the shore for minnows, so I can use them as bait. "They are found in pools of shallow water by the hundreds and are free. However, they are difficult to catch if you do not know what your doing."[3] In the minnow trap, I add bait such as bread crumbs so it attracts the minnows towards the cage. I then let the trap sit along the shore for several hours. Fishing is one of the hobbies I enjoy.
