I strongly agree with the Five Pillars:
- Wikipedia does not have firm rules.
- Assume good faith.
- Wikipedia is a living encyclopedia, and as such, consensus can change.
- Be bold in editing, moving, and modifying articles, because the joy of editing is that, although it should be aimed for, perfection is not required.
- If a rule prevents you from improving or maintaining Wikipedia, ignore it.
