 Larry Garner full name Lawrence Allen Garner,Born January 31,1961 born in Wurzburg, Germany. Larry has a son Blair Allen Garner, born October 7,1996. Son of Hilmer Grey Garner Sr. and Ione C. Hunt. His dad served during World War II and one of the brave soldiers that fought in Okinawa, Japan near the end of the war in 1945. Larry was raised by his step-father Charles L. Hunt who worked for the Great Northern Railway. Larry grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and was inspired by his brother Grey Garner Jr. who is an artist to draw and paint. Larry was also inspired by a local artist/teacher named Tony Yaworski, who was a fantastic watercolor artist. Tony encouraged Larry to utilize his abilities to paint from Tony's vast collection of photography he shot of the local scenery, which laid heavily on the shipping. Larry won a slot in the Milwaukee Journal Art Calendar Contest in 1979, and two safety calendars contest sponsored by the Travelers Insurance Company in 1978-79 in the state of Wisconsin. Currently Larry is fighting a disability to regain his ability to function in everyday life without the aid of strong pain medications to get through each day. We wish Larry well.
