Chibarwe or also known as mabarwe Are a language group under one of the 5 clan dialects of shona known as manyika people who speak the language known as "Samanyika". The dialect derives from makombe also known as uteve and were indefinable to the manyika of north east Zimbabwe .Mabarwe are a small minority group who are known and documented with their respective chieves to only exist south closs to the Ndau Shona dialect clan areas sometimes refered to as uteve are found bodering nearby mashonaland east with their respective totems . There are no groups found in central north or east manicaland only the manyikas can be found in boardering Mozambique and as far as malawi with their respective totems sharing a lot of heritage with tsonga and kalanga peoples where historical chief mutasa made his ruling dynasties . Chibarwe is only spoken at most with 20 000 people recognised by zimbabwe national intangible cultural heritage invertory list and provisional Elements.
