SLAK is an Australian online gaming community (clan) based in Melbourne, Victoria, that has been active since 1998[1].
About
The community itself consists of several different clans and groups that harbor people from all around Australia and a few from New Zealand. SLAK run public online gaming servers for anyone to play on, SLAK pride themselves on providing servers that are abuse and cheating free[2]. SLAK run game servers for many different multiplayer pc games. The games they currently host are:
- Battlefield 3
- Left 4 Dead 2
- Counter Strike: Source
- Day of Defeat: Source
- Team Fortress 2
- Minecraft
- Terraria

Members of the SLAK community can be defined in two ways. They are either a part of the core SLAK clan, or they are part of the wide community surrounding it.
