Malcolm David Maxted was born 7th March 1946 in Folkestone, Kent and in 1981 moved to Orpington, kent and remind there until Malcolm passed away on the 21st of May 2020.

Malcolm was a extremely talented, commercial artist designed vast amount of West End Theatre posters, just some of them, Gone with the Wind, Evita, Blood Brothers, Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, Jolson, Dirty Dancing, Buddy Holly show, Oliver, Billy Elliot.

Concert posters included Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, David Bowie, Celine Dion and many more.

Malcolm also work on MGM, Canon and ABC cinemas, designed and and Stoll Moss and was well-known for his panto posters, also designing the Royal Variety Programme brochures and was honoured to hand make Gold booklets for the Queen and Silk booklets for Prince Duke of Edinburgh, Charles Prince of Wales and Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO, CD.

Malcolm mentored and inspired so many people and earned his name ARTIST TO THE STARS.
