Millhouse Entertainment LLC

Millhouse Entertainment is a non-profit organization specialized in enhancing artistic development of youth through educational awareness. Free educational workshops, seminars, talent competitions and showcases targeted to gifted and talented youth from low to moderate income families who possess artistic interest in arts/entertainment are provided by this organization.

Mission

The mission of Millhouse Entertainment is to cultivate enrichment of youth in the area of artistic development through educational awareness of the arts/entertainment industry. Free career tools and materials along with career insight and advice are available to all attendants. These seminars also provide this targeted audience a chance to meet face-to-face with local industry professionals of the art/entertainment industry, a chance to build a strong network, and a chance to showcase their talent.

History

This 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit Organization was founded in January 2007 by the south's legendary radio personality, 'Milli Mills' in Irving, TX. With over 20+ years of experience as a radio personality/media talent, Milli saw the need to help steer, guide, and educate talented and gifted youth who possess an interest in arts/entertainment. "Many talented and gifted youth come from low to moderate families and cannot afford to attend expensive acting workshops, art conventions, or recording/production sessions. Some youth are also clueless on how to begin or launch a career in arts/entertainment. Youth stand the chance of losing hope of their dreams when financial restrains and lack of moral support from families are paramount. Many families cannot afford to send their child or children to casting calls and auditions in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, & Atlanta. Thus, we serve as a liaison between our talented and gifted youth and industry professionals, providing an avenue to their career path" (Mills, 2010).

The following internships for High School and College Students are provided by Millhouse Entertainment: Promotions Assistant for Media Events Planning & Production Assistant for Media Events

Entertainment consultation is also provided by this organization to advise and consult artists with their career matters and decisions. As a result, Millhouse Records derived from this organization in 2010; making Teen Pop/Hip-Hop Recording Artist Rumill, its first lady.

Marketing/Promotional/PR packages are offered by this organization.
