MissCrystalize a.k.a. Miss Crystal a.k.a Crystal Clear has been the moniker of Crystal Jacquez writer, arts advocate and media artist. Founder of Urban Arts Council and Contextual City a documentation project for the DIY and Arts spaces of Denver over the past 30 years. A founding member of W.A.M. Women's Art Movement a women's art collective in San Francisco from 2006 - 2010. Crystal has been a correspondent of the Metro Arts program on KGNU community radio and is currently a theatre critic for the greater Denver area. Crystal started her radio career on radio 1190 as a host dj for the La Decadance specialty radio show that was the longest running on Friday nights 9-11. After her move to SF in 2005 she stated work at Energi 92.7 the dance music radio station. She went on to become the news director of KCSF as well as have a show on Pirate Car Radio in the Mission and a show on FCCFREE online radio called Our Cultural Rehab that interviewed a variety of cultural outliers.
