About meMy username is MrFirewall and I became a member of Wikipedia on 16 January 2007. I've known Wiki since I found references for my presentation at school a long time ago but I never think of the idea someday I would be one of the people who writes the article, not merely the one who just use it as reference. In fact, I get influenced by my close friend whose username is PeaceNT, a crazy fan of Wiki, which sometimes make me unbearable. Difficult when joining WikipediaI've tried editing some articles but then I have problems familiarizing with strange terms on Wiki and I find myself totally ignorant of Wiki's rules and policy. I decided to spend one month grasping all the materials given from useful links in the welcome template and it struck me that Wikipedia is a real "society" and every editor must comply with its own tack. Although I'm a newcomer but I pride myself on taking a firm hold of rules so you shouldn't daze if I can quote every policy in the discussion like an experienced editor. Wiki's common placesGetting from my friend's experience, I've recently known about some common places where we can find help from other editors and facilitate collaboration: |
