I am a senior Psychology major at Clemson University with a passion for reading, exploring, and new experiences. I believe that research, travel, and a release of inhibition are the best ways to learn new things. Often times we get comfortable in our own culture and the way things are done in our own communities causing us to believe that our way is the only way to think or do something. When we delve into the unknown we begin to realize that the world is much bigger than ourselves and our society, and there are many means to get to any destination; physical or mental. I joined the Wikipedia community as a part of my senior laboratory curriculum, led by Dr. June Pilcher. By participating in this project I hope to improve a number of articles and learn about new ideas and concepts through interaction with other users!
