Matthew Charles Stansfield (Born 29 January 1991) is an English and New Zealander blogger, and was the author of the now defunct New Zealand Current Events blog between 2006 and 2009.[1] Stansfield attended Otago Boys' High School in Dunedin, New Zealand from 2005-2009[2] and now studies at the University of Otago. He also sits on the Otago Regional Council of the United Nations Youth Association of New Zealand as an ordinary member[3].

Stansfield was once falsely reported to be 864th in line for Succession to the British Throne.
