User:Neutral nobody

I am neutral nobody.

Neutral, because I try to bring all sides of a subject, written about in articles or discussions, into the light.

Nobody, because I don't believe minority views are non-notable or unimportant.

The founding fathers, though not perfect, believed in majority rules, but did not believe in mob rules. They believed in the protection of the minority, but not minority rules.

So, direct democracy is mob rules. Mob rules is reactionary. We would still have slavery, if we had had direct democracy (mob rules) back then, and it (direct democracy) had prevailed. It is a dangerous thing.

Minority rules is dangerous too, because you have a few telling the many how to live. We have seen how much misery this has brought to the human race: Monarchies, theocracies, so-called communists (though it all ways ends up a few ruling not rule by all),dictatorships, est.

The answer is representative democracy, it is slow and cumbersome, no more corrupt then extreme left state run governments or extreme right anarchies would be, so slow as to prevent mob rules and diverse enough to have majority rules, but with a minority voice.
