Computer Power (NZ) is a Private Training Establishment, and one of the larger specialist IT Training companies in New Zealand, and is the front name for Computer Power Institute, which has training facilities in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
History
Computer Power (NZ) was originally owned by the Computer Power Group (CPG) until the Australian division ran into financial difficulity during December 2005. Computer Power (NZ) was brought by Australian IT Training provider Didasko, in a shock move, Didasko also brought the failed Australian division citing that the back end functions of the business were needed to ensure continuity of the New Zealand business.
Originally Computer Power (NZ) was registered on the New Zealand Companies Registar under the name Computer Power Education Pty Ltd, until the name was changed to Interim Technology Education Pty Ltd (April, 1999), Spherion Education Ltd (Dec, 2000) and then to it's present name Computer Power (NZ) Ltd in June, 2004
