User:Nomographer
I just signed up in May, hoping to contribute in areas of science, math, and engineering. I have degrees in chemical engineering and computer science, and have worked in those fields for 20 years. Until I get the feel for the system, I'll probably just contribute to the discussion pages. If you take issue with any of my comments, keep in mind that I'm an adult and not your typical slashdotter. If my formatting is abysmal, I'll have wikitext figured out soon enough.
Areas I intend to review at some point:
- Chemical engineering
- Chemical and phase equilibria
- Industrial process control, simulation, and optimization
- Numerical algorithms
- Compiler and computer language design and implementation
- Generic engineering-related
