It can only survive on the conversion of curious new editors, and the respect and bringing of any internet "trolls" to justice without outright frustrating them.

Many people look at Wikipedia as an only resource, but many others who can be passionate may at first seek the "trolling" or experimenting by making their mark on this resource. These individuals can be easily converted into awesome editors (Relevant XKCD).
