Unlike the other bonus levels, you are actually able to select one of the following two playable characters which are Boyfriend and Girlfriend. The songs heard in this level are as follows: Ninja Basics, Reflex, Agility, Stealth and True Ninja Test. For the Ninja Basics song, Shuri and Ken explain to the player on what they have to do. This is also the first song to involve cutscenes after the player does an action. Also, instead of the normal sounds he makes, Boyfriend actually says the move he performs. Girlfriend also does the same. Depending on your timing with the action that Shuri wants you to do, Ken will hold up a sign with a rating on it. The health bar at the bottom also keeps track of your progress. Hitting the right actions will make you gain health. Missing/performing the wrong actions will take away your health. If the player somehow loses, Shuri and Ken will shake their heads at the player followed by the word "Retry" appearing at the top.
Gameplay Mechanics - Dodge Notes
During Reflex, a certain action with a picture of a ninja ducking will constantly appear. This action tells you that Shuri will swing her sword at you on her next turn. Failing to do this action in time will result in a large chunk of your health being taken away.
Shuri will also do a special animation if you fail to dodge her sword. The special animation shows her laughing. If you listen closely, her laugh is actually audible.
Trivia
- Unlike any song in the game, the player is actually forced to redo the current song they finished if they have less than 75% health.
- At the end of every song depending on who you play as, a special animation is shown for both the player and Shuri. The special animations shows the two putting their hands together and bowing down. A gong can also be heard in the background.
Story Mode (Desert Wasteland)
Boyfriend and Girlfriend randomly stumble into a desert without any water. Suddenly, Boyfriend then sees two girls off in the distance. He then asks them what their names are. One of the girls tells him that they're girls, not guys. After Boyfriend says that he just wants to know their names, the girl says that her name is Goves and the other girl's name is Ambion. Unfortunately, Boyfriend, trying not to offend Goves and Ambion while doing so anyway, says that they don't look too friendly. Goves then says that she and Ambion were very offended by what Boyfriend said about them. This then results in a boss fight occurring right after the cutscene ends. Right when the battle starts, Sarvente and Ruv join the two to help them defeat Goves and Ambion.

After the tank was filled, Boyfriend and Anchor continued their drive to their destination. Once they arrived, they attempt to open the door to the church, but it appears to be locked. It is then revealed that Selever was the one that locked the door. Boyfriend then demands Selever to explain to him and Anchor why he locked the door. Selever then says that it's because he no longer wanted to see Boyfriend ever again and that he's tired of Boyfriend beating him in rap battles. However, Boyfriend and Anchor don't care at all.
