My name is Russell M. Rainear I have been a Mason in North Carolina for just over ten years. But while this may seem as a brief time for many of my seniors. I have from my first day taken the phrase "You will get out of Masonry what you put into it." to heart. I am twice Past Master of Cherry Point Lodge # 688 in Havelock North Carolina. I became a Certified Lecturer and then served four years 2006-10 as the District Deputy Grand Lecturer for the 7th Masonic District in North Carloina. In 2003 I received the Scottish Rite Degrees at the Valley of New Bern Scottish Rite and am currently a member of several degree teams as well as the Venerable Master of the Fourteenth Degree. In 2007 I recieved the York Rite degrees and am currently in all three of the Officer lines for the New Bern York Rite bodies. I Became a Grand Chapter Officer for the State of North Carolina in 2011 and I am currently serving as the Grand Master of the 1st Viel and as the Cryptic Grand Lecturer for the State of North Carolina. I am also an Officer in Several Appendant Bodies of Masonry to include AMD, Knight Masons, and the York Rite College. I was humbled and honored to be invested with the K.C.C.H in late 2011 as well.
