Danny Lee Young was born on 25 May 1989 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. He lived with his parents and younger brother & siser. He started to produce music under the stage name "Danny Young" through his own web site, and began working as a DJ. In April 2006, he signed with Hardcore2Bassline, releasing his and his friends first single, "Coming On Strong". In West Yorkshire, the song became a hit instantly and was the first ever English language song to reach number one on the Britain Top 40 Chart. In 2007, Danny Young and Jixzy released a recording titled "Umberella", The song charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and stayed there for 2weeks.
