Pyrotec, from the Greek word for fire or heat, was the username chosen to represent my interests: the history of railways and canals; industrial chemical based products, such as matches; Gunpowder, etc. However, between 2008 and 2016, I was mostly been involved in reviewing WP:GANs and to a lesser extent WP:GARs: reviewing just over 500 nominations.
More recently I took a break of about three and half years to persue other interests, but have recently returned to wikipedia.
