Education
Radha was born in the educational city of Baroda, now Vadodara. She did her schooling fron Baroda High School and the Convent of Jesus & Mary school in Baroda. She completed her graduate and master's in Child Development (now called Human Development and Family Studies) from the Faculty of Home Science (now renamed as Faculty of Family and community Studies) from the Maharaja Sayaji Rao University of Baroda. She also completed one year Post Graduate Diploma in Social Communications Media from the Sophia Somani Polytechnic in Mumabai (then Bombay!!) She further did a Master's program in Broadcasting from Boston University's College of Communication.=
Work=
Her first job was the Indian Space Research Organization in Ahmedabad and later with Development and Educational Communications Unit in ISRO as a Social Researcher.
As a student at Boston University she did student internships at the WGBH, Boston the Public Television Station in Boston and also Brookline Cable Company. She also worked as teaching assistant at the College of Communication.
She also worked briefly at International Television in New York, a cable channel devoted to Indian programs.=
Back in India, she did a brief stint at Jain Studios and CENDIT in New Delhi== =Since 1993 she has been a professor and Head Department of Communication Media for Children at the SNDT Women's University in Pune.
