Personal Interests

I am interested in and read a wide variety of fiction, however I am particularly interested in science fiction and fantasy novels. I find these genres are great to escape with, but if written well can also be enlightening to the human condition and can reveal valid philosophical points about the 'real' world. I am also interested in adolescent novels, written for both teens and adults. There is something about the turning-of-age experience that fascinates me, and I have returned to it again and again throughout my life. Now at the age of 50 years I still pick up and enjoy well written teen fiction.
