Nació en Santiago de Chile el 17 de abril de 1975. Cursó enseñanza media en el Instituto Nacional, terminando cuarto medio en el Colegio Yugoslavo de Antofagasta. Entra a estudiar Ingeniería Comercial en la Universidad Central el año 1992. El 1995 sirve misión en Panamá, como representante de la [Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días]. En 1998 se casa con Marcela de Santiago en el Templo de Santiago, y comienza sus estudios de economía en BYU graduandose el 2002, año en que vuelve a Chile donde ha trabajado en Valgesta, NEstle y Amec Chile. Tiene dos hijos, Emiliano (6) y Eleonora (9 meses).
