Dante Settles, better known by his stage name Red Heffner Salt n pepper.

BIOGRAPHY

Born July 12, 1985 in Roosevelt, Long Island to Bobby Ray Settles and Marilyn Coleman. He was nicknamed LiL ReD after his father Red. Inspired by his older brother Quik LiL Red started writing his own ryhmes. He made his first attempts at rapping at the age of 11. In 2008 he became the C.E.O of V21 Ent. ( Villain 21 Entertainment). In the year 2011 he created THE RED ROOM PRODUCTIONS . During this event his fans gave him the name Red Heffner because of the facebook group, they then added Salt n Pepper because its symbolic to how he gets it shaking. The facebook group eventually became too wild and rated (R),so Red decided to switch the direction of it to a group for up and coming artist to promote music ,parties,and other events.

Red made his first appearance & became known to the public when he appeared on FIRE GRIND RADIO a show started by his older cousin Polo Tagaluchi in 2011. ReD also worked at a club called Phase with his cousin, where he also hosted his Red room parties and other events. Red then released his album for the ReD room called "Welcome to the ReD room". Red first came to prominence after releasing a single called "Nothing Funny" off of his Revolutionary Arrogance mixtape. The video was shot by Mook Diamonds (C.E.O of Real Talk DVD) and Hardbody TV.Red is now shooting videos for artist,Interviewing artist for The Red Room DVD,and recording events.Red's latest projects are LONG ISLAND GOT BARS DVD,VELT VILLAINS DA MOVIE,and he's working on a new mixtape called VILLAIN MINDED.ReD Heffner is and always will be The voice of the velt.

PERSONAL LIFE

On October 4,2011 Red's son was born named Dante Settles Jr. The next day Red's father past away. This made him change his life around and work harder.On January 21,2013 Reds daughter Rayven Settles was born Currently Red is engaged to his fiancee Beverly Jouissance.
