Red Space Cyrod is a musical duo currently based in Los Angeles, California and Paris, France. It is the collaboration and creative works between Cyrille Poumerie (Paris) and Jay Echeverria (Los Angeles) or aliases: Cyrod (Cyrille Poumerie) and Red Space Cadet (Jay Echeverria). The two met by way of similar interests via "cybernetic meeting" and began musical collaborations around the start of 2008. The result has been a steady production of songs ranging from dark psychedelia to mellow grunge and new wave. Red Space Cyrod are currently set to release their first independent LP, "To Telescope", during the start of January 2009. This will be a collection of 14 songs recorded at various times during 2008 in Paris and in Los Angeles.
