Robert Gregory Joyce, Born in Adelaide Australia, 18th of October 1969

In 1985 Robert Left High School at the end of year 11 and started work as an apprentice Motor Mechanic. He then went to work as a machinist at the Mitsubishi plant in Lonsdale in the south of Adelaide.

In 1999 Robert started studying for an Associate Diploma in Information Systems. by the time he had completed his diploma in 2001, he had been awarded 17 other sub certificates in addition to the diploma.

He then began at Flinders university of South Australia where he completed a Bachelor of Information Technology degree.

Shortly after this, we went to work in Canberra for the Computer Power Training Institute (Interim technologies) as Technical support. After staff cuts, in 2003, he was invited by Gehtsoft, in Russia. Gehtsoft are an outsource company for Forex Capital Markets (FXCM) During his time at the company, he improved the quality and testing procedures that were non existant at the time, to such a state, that after only 2 years, the company turner increased from $50,000 USD pa, to $2Million pa.

Near the end of his 2 years at gehtsoft, Robert began working for ijoomla.com as QA tester, helping them improve the quality of their Joomla! CMS extensions. After a short time, Robert started developing for ijoomla and even employed other developers to further take on work for iJoomla. After 2.5 years, iJoomla and Robert parted ways and Robert started working independently, providing freelance, development, and technical support work for his clients. In 2007 Robert Created the osdcs.com website and company, OffShore Development Center Siberia. His main focus was on developing payment plugins for various Joomla extensions. In 2013, He created his first major extension for the Joomla LMS, which took 2 years to complete. In 2025, the extension Joomla LMS King Professional was launched via his new website, King-Products.net

To this date, Robert works via both the websites as a freelancer and outsourcer, supporting the Joomla CMS.
