I'm a web developer living in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I am fascinated by languages and am currently learning Japanese -- nearing the end of book 2 of the Japanese for Busy People series and in the midst of learning the JLPT level 3 kanji. Because of my interest in Japanese, I've been trying to improve the information on Japanese and kanji in wikipedia and wiktionary for students of the language like me.
I also spend time reverting vandalism and warning users who commit vandalism. I find that warning users who commit vandalism can be very effective in getting them to stop and am frustrated by those who are vigilant about reverting vandalism but who consistently fail to warn vandals about their activities. An unwarned vandal generally continues to vandalize.
