PAJAMARAMALAMAMA is a word composed of rhyming syllables to sound ridiculous when read out loud.

History

The first known instance of PAJAMARAMALAMAMA was a promotional "Buck-A-Roo Bowling" night at 4 Seasons Bowling Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. Alice Clawson programmed PAJAMARAMALAMAMA as a name for Caleb Knox, and the legend was born.

Syntax

PAJAMARAMALAMAMA can be easily broken down by syllable, or by grouping several syllables together. The intended definition of the word is unknown, but the words compounded within lead to speculation. The first word found inside is pajama. This would seem to be somewhat self-explainatory. Next is the suffix "-rama". When something is described as a "-rama", it is known as an extravagant display of the subject; in this case, a "pajama-rama". The last three syllables cause the most debate when trying to define PAJAMARAMALAMAMA. The most common translation is to group the first two syllables together to form "lama", a misspelling of the word llama. The last syllable is seen as standing alone as "ma", or even being redundant. A less common variant is to group "la" by itself, and keep the remaining two syllables together as "mama."
