There is a fifth grader in New York who is probably already in precalc! It's so outstanding how this guy actually uses graphing calculators in fifth grade, usually, a fifth grader would never touch a graphing calculator, his mind in built like a robot. The user details will not be shared as it is going to leak information that he did not allow me to share. Below, here are the exact quotes from him in his "Desmos Graph Gallery" which is something he typed in Google docs for his school. Read more...

DESMOS is a Graphing Calculator, common here is the U.S which highschool students use for their lessons and homework.

Desmos Graph Gallery!

All projects here are made by ****** **** and if not, they will be credited. The original owner of this doc is*********. No copying without credits. This doc has been hacked a few times by some people I know, I won’t call them out though. Fact: This is one of the only 2 starred docs that I have. This is my first favorite docs ever. As I get older, I will visit this less but this is still a really important document to me because this will remind me how smart *************************** (or maybe if I remember this docs good enough, maybe this will travel through middle school grades.). I started this docs in 2025 Dec. 17 so when it’s that time, it’s the Desmos Graph Gallery’s Anniversary! Here is my docs for my Desmos projects. Any project I make will go here. A variety of my project from test to real project will be shared here. If I invited you to view this doc, that means that I trust you to see some graphs I have made in Desmos and I think you’ll like to see these amazing graphs! This is my own dairy of notes and links for Desmos projects, I will put a few notes and comments occasionally.

What is Desmos? Desmos is a graphing calculator that has amazing math tools and helps students thrive in math. Desmos hosts contests, events, and many other things. You can create an account to save your graphs and there are many more amazing things you can do on Desmos. I don’t have an account (now I do) but what I do is click “Take a screenshot” and that just means, take the link. With the link, then I paste it into here. For anyone who would like to try Desmos, here is the link to Desmos. Please don’t copy my graphs, I know that someone did but I won’t reveal it in this writing.

HOW EVERYTHING IS ORGANIZED: (it changed a bit as progressing started…) [Number of graph] (Link of graph) Rank: (For example, test, W.I.P, project, collab…) Description: (A bit about the project) [My rating of it based on rank.]

_______________________________________________________________ Note (From future me): My first few projects were HORRIBLE! Starting at 10 I think is the place where my graphs have insanely noticeable progress.

Ok, my first graph: 1.https://www.desmos.com/calculator/biarktgop7 -Rank: Test and W.I.P (Testing a new way to create and graph line segments) -Description: THE LEGEND IS BORN… I can’t really say much about this, some simple charts, graphing, and I’ll build on this later. Maybe… This wasn’t supposed to be THAT good, just to test something - the line segmentation. -Overall, this project would be a 5/10 because of the rank and the difficulty.

Note: Sadly, I was trying to make a project and edit it a bit later but when I clicked the link, it was not saved… That’s because you can’t edit a link’s project and copy the link of the project copy where you added new things. The way to fix this is to create an account but on your school chromebook, you can’t make an account because the network blocked it.

2.https://www.desmos.com/calculator/mpkhkcu4ux -Rank: Official project Description: This is supposed to be a house. This project was also entirely made out of connecting points! Anyways, my second project on this doc, pretty good for a second project. I would rank this project a 9/10, the 3D structure looks good, the house picture is also good. 😀

3. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/smtfvbdzhe -Rank: Official Project -Description: This project is just very wavy. I used only sine waves to create a ocool effect. -This would be a 7/10 in my opinion

4. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/gnqtbvmppl -Rank: Test -Description: I am just testing color changing… -This is going to be an 8/10.

5. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/xjmbbyirty -Rank: Official Project. -Description: Very crazy indeed. I am not sure what most of these plots are from but I just mashed up some random simple stuff that I know at the top of my head and created some sort of gloop. -This… is a 9/10! 6. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/fijxr6ks47

7.https://www.desmos.com/calculator/a5caqtczp4 Rank: Official Project. Desc.- GD? I still work on this project because it’s too amazing. (GD means Geometry Dash, a game made by RobTop.) I’d rate this a 9.67/10.

Note: I fortunately made a Desmos account! But… I joined the Desmos Art Contest 2025 and the top 20, gets $250 USD!! But, there is a small chance I’ll win since I lied about my age to participate in the contest, I’m not actually 13+...

8. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/queezzu6kd Rank: Official Project. -Description: No idea… sine waves have such smooth movement so I made this project full of sine waves, of course I’d name it “Sine Wave Abuse Project.” 🤣 I’d give this a 8/10!

Note: Math Contest 2025 ended! The results are in February.

9.https://www.desmos.com/calculator/scldxrh3on Rank: Official Project. -Description: This is just a simple funny project, not used for anything else. A simple, bored emoji. This is a… I guess 7/10.

10. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/1wlwaidngp Rank: Official project. -Description: Just… a peaceful drawing of a coffee mug. A TEN / TEN!!!

Note: I don’t really put tests anymore on this doc, I’ve made some more tests but I never put them here.

11. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/so6abpjgvx Rank: WIP Description: Abstract absolute amazing artwork. I can’t really rate this now, since it’s a WIP.

12. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/8kfdqa0dob (My best one currently!) Rank: Official project. Description: Fish, underwater, ocean, graph. As you can see, I tried to make a gradient in the BG but it is very “un-gradient-ish” but other that that, I think that the appearance is good. Id rate this… *Drumroll please 10/10!

13. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/rlsa1rl618 Rank: Official Project. Description: This was a pretty decent looking graph, not the best but not the worst, at first, I was going to turn it into a car but then, it ended out having a train structure so I made it into a train. This is 9/10.

14. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/zeencjq8cn Rank: Test Description: Start the slider to start the animation, click the pause/resume button next to where it says “a”. This graph was pretty nice since it’s an animation instead of a moving picture that loops infinitely - like my other graphs, it’s an animation. I’ve noticed that other people use a “ticker” which you can put when you enable actions and click on the plus button. (With tables, expression, inferences…) Also, a question that many of you probably have is, how to you deal with the transparency? Well, the answer to that is that you can input transparency of a shape, instead of a number, you can put a variable. The value of the variable will be the value of the transparency and you can do the same for size and thickness of outline of a shape you graphed. WOW, this description is long compared to the others. I’d rate this a 9/10 since it’s a test that might change how I graph art.

15. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/kaxi2enruj Rank: Test Description: I was just trying to use the “clickable” mod which went well for my first experience. I set the actions feature and it gave me 2 add-ons, the ticker and clickable objects, this was able to open a whole new dimension of math graphing since I can now use click detection to create games. Although, it’s weird to create games in a calculator…

Note: I am sorry for not updating this, I am a bit busy but I might update this from Feb 8 to 10. And… THE ART CONTEST 2025 RESULTS ARE OUT! I didn’t get in the top 20.(Well, why would I? I’m not even 13+.) Also, my entry for the contest was number 7 on this graph.

16. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/orrqzdfkxp Rank: Test Description: I was just testing the squared bracket to create a series of graphs that happen. And, I was able to create a gradient in Desmos! Example: x=[-10…10] (That means x=-10, x=-9, x=-8, … )

Note: Square brackets also work like this: [x,y]^(2) = 225

Look, I got a certificate from Desmos in the math contest!!!!!!! https://www.desmos.com/calculator/lvqdfzjrpk , this isn’t a real project but I made it for memory of my first math Desmos contest.

17. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/h6kdq00lzt Rank: Official project Description: This first started with a test on rotating elipses but… as you know, I can turn a to z. In this case, I turned 2 elipses into an ice cream shape and added a cone, BG effects, and much more. But… I kind of still don’t know how to rotate elipses. I thought it would be like this: ((x/3)^(2)+cos (a))+ y (“and yeah… blah blah blah geometric elipse stuff) = … but, it was NOT a thing even close to it. I saw something like that from a Desmos exemplar graph but I wasn’t able to replicate it. Oh, also, for the rating, I might not do it anymore since I don’t feel it right to rank my own graphs, you could maybe tell me.

Note from future me: Ok, now I know how to do it.

18. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/krpj81xggf Description: I just used the absolute value of an infinite lasting variable to decide the ball velocity and movement with variable “b”.

19. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/jqp1apocj6 Description: Happy Ramadan to all those Muslims! I decided to create a graph for Ramadan, I’m fasting.

20. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ironi0mo05 Description: A graph that I made 10000000000 years ago included an emoji, I decided to use the new info I learned of cutting a function and made this. I might start a group of emojis. This group consists of ********** *********** **************

21. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/whkmehj2j6 Description: A peaceful landscape… But it’s kinda weird that it has a sun in a snowy day.

22. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/6uqwvs4i96 Description: This is my best graph so far, it’s amazing and I’ve put in so much work into this graph. Just very beautiful. Some Rates of this graph

Section is blocked, leaks info Note: Very sorry for not updating this for like… a week? But, I have made projects in this inactivity period but they are tests. If you wonder what I am testing, I am experiment a bit with the cutting function things.

Example: If you cut by “x > sin(y-a) / b”, then that actually makes the function cut off in multiple points based on the function and the use.

Explanation: The graph should be a sine wave function aligned to the y axis and the original graph should be able to cut of where you put the restriction.

23. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/qistoz2q7n Description: This is a highly efforted graph, I was just trying to test out the right half of the tree.

24. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/qo0tmngo5p Description: I can just say the feeling when you are about to devour a huge sandwich in 1 second. This took me 3 days to make.

25. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/w4790i66g4 Description: I made this project because I was lazy, I saw a hotdog that my friend Matthew made and I said that I could try to make it better. The story is in the project description.

26. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/tfaxltqi2e Description: I saw a Desmos project once where it was just “Desmos” graphed out so I decided to recreate that in my own way and add cool effects. I didn’t use any assets from the original project because, I’m not even sure where I saw it. Lol.

27. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/9ykftxfsuq Description: I wanted to make a graph out of 2 color other than the border. I made another mess with 2 colors ONLY so I made this. The other one that I made is https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ao2fdsw5on which is only 2 colors.

Note: I kind of have stopped saying what the project is ranked because now, all I do is either a test or actual project, you can tell by the amount of lines. If there is 1 or 2 lines or something like that, it’s probably just a test or a joke project.

Note: I went to the apple store just to view not buy and on the sample computers, I graphed something on Desmos.

28. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/i2awiycwzs Description: Just an integral test… Multiple expressions in one using the square bracket and integral. 29. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/wbumwggrcl Description: My good friend, gave me a painting of the parkchester train station and I remembered that and created this to show to him. :D

30. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ysdrz6iwsy This is something I created with an online reference (a picture) and I tried to replicate it using graphs.

Note: State test was today at 2026 April 22nd. Today was also where this got… THIRTY GRAPHS!!

31. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/umxxvbi8hu Description: This is like graph number 30, I also used a reference and tried to replicate it using math graphs. It’s supposed to be a duck. This is a gift for my wonderful principal, MS. Carrasquillo Cilen. Tomorrow is national Principals Day on May 1, 2026.

Note: My next graph is taking a bit longer than I expected but it’s going to be EPIC! It’s going to be a drawing of Spheal (pokemon).

The outline of my new graph is here!

32. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/0btrlsde8t Description: After a long time, here it is, the ultimate spheal. Spheal is a pokemon which I decided to make in the graphing calculator.

33. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ed3lk7hatk Description: This graph is a latte. This graph has history that will go down. Charlie, one of my best friends has went to my school for 5 years and we’ve been friends ever since. In fourth grade, my favorite teacher had a latte plush and my friend, he looked online and got the same latte plush and he always brought it to school and he has left the school this year so I’m doing something to kind of remember him. I still can reach him through messages but I can’t physically meet him. For this graph, my other good friend Matthew, he took a picture of latte in fourth grade so he showed me it and told me to try to create latte in desmos, I’m surprised that he still has that picture saved to him computer.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LdGZ5eU-auM&pp=ygULSmFrZSB3YWxrZXI%3D YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS. This is an animation that’s ENTIRELY made in Desmos… like what?! HOW?

34. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/yrlrvusuto Description: Heh… Uhhhh, do I need to say anything… SIX SE-

Note: For number 32, I made a pokemon , which is Spheal and I’m making another pokemon soon (1 week… D:) which is Umbreon so stay tuned!

    • It actually might take more time so… yeah.

35. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/i2uu71ioic Description: what you’ve all been waiting for… another pokemon graph! This is my second Pokémon graph and the most expressions/equations used in 1 graph. BTW, I’m graduating elementary school so… I’m excited for that, it’s happening in literally 2 weeks!

36. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ydtny7wnit Description: Click a to eat pizza. Yummy pizza.

Please a huge credits to Desmos, https://www.desmos.com/calculator , and Google Docs, https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/?tgif=d .

Note: IT’S ONE WEEK UNTIL SCHOOL END!! I’M GRADUATING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL! ScienceKat (talk) 14:36, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
