My main areas of interest are relations between China and the West in the 19th century, including trade, the opium wars, military expeditions, etc... I also dabble in other articles relating to French, British, Luxembourgian or North American history, and whatever else tickles my fancy. I welcome any (constructive) comment and/or criticism. Lauding is also perfectly acceptable.
The following are a few articles that I have either created or that I work on on a regular basis:
- Luxembourg-related: 1942 Luxembourgian general strike, Hinzert, Prix Grand-Duc Adolphe, Auguste Trémont, United States Ambassador to Luxembourg, Théo Kerg
- China trade: Abiel Abbot Low, William Saunders (photographer), William Henry Low, Augustine Heard, Augustine Heard and Company, Samuel Russell, Dyer Ball, Miles Justice Knowlton, Michael Simpson Culbertson, Bowring Treaty
- Other: Alice Boughton
