Simon Trevaskis

Simon was born in the Melbourne a capital city of Australia, where he was raised with no other siblings as an only child. His father, Tom Richard Trevaskis, was a successful businessman and breeder and racer of thoroughbred horses, while his mother, Victoria, was a homemaker and involved to some extent in the family business. Simon aspired to a career in business from a very young age and upon graduation from secondary school, enrolled at Bond University to study Business and then a Masters Electronic Commerce.

Early Career

In 2003, after several years of study and working in advertising he foundered a company Industry Press specialising in managed eNewsletter solutions which was later sold and rebranded to Biz-e-News. The experience convinced him that eBusiness was his future. After his first successful startup Simon began working with IBC - Internet Business Corporation a large web development agency in Perth the capital city of Western Australia. He was involved in selling solutions to Government, Enterprise and SMEs, in which capacity he gained valuable experience in the design, development and marketing aspects of operating businesses online. In 2007 Simon left IBC to startup SEO Advisers which later became Search Group one of Western Australia's larger SEO and online marketing firms. Seeing some success, in 2009 Simon decided to broaden is eBusiness outlook and broke away from Search Group to form a more innovative all service consulting firm eBusiness Consultants.

Current

eBusiness Consultants is the first firm of it's type in Australia offering a host of services which typically had to be sourced from multiple providers, including;

  • ERP & CRM Consulting
  • eCommerce Solutions
  • Custom Development
  • eMarketing
  • eCommerce & IT Law
  • Project Management

The team Simon put together has included specialist lawyers, online application developers and cutting edge graphic designers.

Future

Simon is currently enrolled in a Masters of ERP systems from Victoria University specilising in SAP and hopes to bring and broader ERP knowedge to the firm.
