Steven "Scott" Fields is an American Professional Basketball Coach. Scott was born on October 31, 1967. In Kokomo, Indiana. Scott is married to Kimberly Dawn Fields on May 8, 2007 Scott attended Lewis Cass Jr.Sr.High School in Walton, Indiana and Graduated in 1986. Scott Fields is a graduate of King College in Bristol, Tennessee in 1990 with a B.A.. In Psychology.

Scott was inducted into the Lewis Cass Hall of Fame in 1986. Scott accepted a scholarship to play basketball at Montreat-Anderson JC in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Scott Fields was diagnosed with Rhuematiod Arthritis in the fall of 1987, that ended his playing career. Scott was told by doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota that he could be in a wheelchair at the age of 25, as his disease was so active and the joints and bones we degenerating at a rapid speed. Scott Fields started his Coaching career at the age of 20. He coached with Randy Unger at King College in Bristol, Tennessee where he earned his B.A. In Psychology. Scott Fields coached the King College Tornados for two seasons as he competed his undergraduate degree,were they were ranked as high as number 4 in the Nation at the N.A.I.A level. Scott Fields then Coached at NCAA Division 1 at Centenary College in Shreveport, La. For Head Coach Tommy Vardamen, They were in the Trans America Athletic Conference. Scott Fields then coached at Chowan College. A National Ranked Junior College in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Region X Ranked as High as Number 5 in the Nation. Scott coached with Bob Burke the third winningest coach in North Carolina history Scott Fields then coached two seasons at NCAA Division 2 in Hawaii. Chaminade University, Honolulu, Hawaii, Scott served as assistant Athletic Director and top assistant Coach for Head Coach Don Doucette. Scott then returned the the NJCAA level at Chipola College. Nationally Ranked number 2, Marianna, Florida with Florida JC Hall of Farmer, Coach Bob Stinnett. Scott was the Associate Head Coach of the team that placed 7 players to the NCAA Division 1 level. Coached the NJCAA National Player of the year Jessie Pate, who signed with National Champions University of Arkansas. At the age of 28, Scott Fields took his talents and skill set to the minor league level of professional Basketball. Scott Fields was named Head Coach of the Dothan Blast on the A.M.B.L. In November of 1993. making him the Youngest Head Coach at the minor league level in the United States. In 1994 Scott Fields was then named Head Coach of the European Team in Luxembourg. BBC Ecluse in Stadtbredimus, Luxemburg. Scott took this team to a Club Best Ever record and to the Luxembourg Cup Final Four for the first time in Club history. In the summer of '94, Scott went to the the Fajardo Cardidodos in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. This is where he Coached future NBA player Carlos Arroyo. In '95 Scott was named Head Coach of the Jamtland Ambassadors in Ostursund, Jamtland Sweden, at the age of 31 , Scott was on track for another Best Ever record before the team faced financial issues. Scott then was named Head Coach of Mollersdorf Lions in Mollersdorf, Austria. Scott took this team to the Austrian Final Four. he next Year Scott was again named Head Coach of the Ulm BBC in Ulm Germany. Scott replaced a Yugoslavian coach in February that kept the team from relegation. Then Scott found himself in the Middle East coaching for the Al-Ittihad team in Jeddah, In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This team finished the regular season Championship with an undefeated season they also had success outside the Kingdom in both the ARAB and ASIAN Championships. Scott Fields was then named Head Coach in January again replacing a Yugoslavian Coach and took a 6th place team to a Lebanese Championship with Al-Riyadi club in Beirut, Lebanon..The following season Scott was Head Coach of the Sagesse BBC again in Lebanon. The team was undefeated 9-0 before leaving in December with philosophical differences with the management.He next Season Scott again returned to Lebanon to be named the Head Coach of a last placed team in the Lebanese League Champville, Scott took a 8th place team and took them to the Final Four in the League. Scott Fields then returned back to the United States in the minor leagues. Scott Fields was named Head Coach and VP of Basketball operations for the Salt Lake Dream of the A.B.A. based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. The team went 13-0 before the teams financial problems hit. Scott Then found himself named Head Coach/President of Basketball operations for the Utah Eaglez of the C.B.A. In Salt Lake City, Utah. The team had success against top teams in both the Eastern and Western Conferences top teams before and Scott placed players to the Euro leagues before Financial issues forced the team to be dropped from the league. Scott Fields was then named Head Coach of the Jilin Tigers of the C.B.A in ChangChun, China.The team was undefeated in the pre season before the firing of the Chinese legend Tiger King was fired and left Scott Fields without a position for the regular Season. Scott Was then named Head Coach of the N.B.L. ParkView Chan-An Snowwolves, Taken them to a best ever record in Club history. Scott returned the the following season to coach the team to another Championship. Scott has also assisted with the Golden State Warriors helping Coach Keith Smart at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas for three years. Scott also assisted Coach Sidney Moncrief in Salt Lake City at the Rocky Mtn Revue. Scott was also allowed to come in to observe and consult with NBA Hall of Fame Coach Jerry Sloan for two season while he was between Head Coaching positions, this was a valuable experience for his growth in the profession. Scott also was the NBA INSIDER for KUTV's Powerhouse Soorts with Alema Harrington. Scott provided professional insight with the Utah jazz and from teams around the league. Scott Fields then assisted Coach Keith Smart in the NBA Vegas summer League this time with the Sacramento Kings. This led to the his most recent Head Coach position with Guaros de Lara in Venezuela in the LPB in Barquisimeto , Venezuela . Scott took over a team that had not made the playoffs in multiple season and currently has them in a playoff position. He currently lives in Idaho with his family and son.
