Stuart Matthew Adam (born 8th March 1983 in Withington, Manchester) is an ex-English professional football player with Macclesfield Town FC and England Youth. He made his name in 1998 by scoring a stunning from long range to give Macclesfield Town a 2–1 victory over Leeds United at Moss Rose. Adam also scored a vital goal and set up another during Macclesfields match with Scunthorpe at Moss Rose.
Stuart started his career at youth level with local side Sale United FC but then broke through in to Cheshire School of Excellence where he was then snapped up by Cheshire Football Club where he starred as Captain. This then paved the way for trials at Stoke City FC and Stockport County FC before he made his name at Macclesfield and then England.
