My name is Dean Jackson; I live in the United States, specifically in Pittsburgh, PA, and also spent a number of years in Washington, DC.
I make most of my edits correcting spelling and grammar. Other than that, my interests include:
- Computers and Computer Science, recently leaning towards web development.
- Electronic Music, with focuses in Breakbeat, Downtempo, and psy/ambient.
- Tent Camping, including Backpacking/Trekking, and outdoor events such as Burningman.
- Firearms, for Hunting, Self Defense, Trap, and target Pistol.
- Sports nutrition and Dietary Supplements.
- Military History, specifically from World War II through the present.
- Sociology and Cognitive Science.
- Motorcycles, lately my dual-sport Wee-strom.
- Non-fiction, science fiction, and graphic novels.
- American Politics, World News, Political Systems, particularly leaned towards the Military-Industrial Complex.
- Bicycles and triathlons.
- The city, surroundings, and people of Pittsburgh are also a big favorite, followed by Washington, DC.
