I am presently a biochemistry PhD student in Canada. I am attempting to discovery new antibiotics and other clinically useful molecules by accessing cryptic clusters in the Gram positive genus Streptomyces. I am a supporter of space travel and have ambitions of helping to develop technology to allow civilian agencies build and maintain large space stations and interplanetary ships.
