Tim Gardine writes for Cheaper Cosmetic Surgery Abroad, an online resource all about cosmetic surgery and medical tourism, in addition to several other online publications. He regards it as increasingly important that a more balanced approach is taken towards medical tourism, as references to it are typically influenced and biased by commercial interests, and so tend to be wholeheartedly in favour, or extremely negative. He feels that neither approach is especially helpful to those patients considering their options.
