Tim J. Young is the principal architect and developer at (Elevate Software, Inc.), a small software company specializing in embedded database engine software for developers established in 1998.

Elevate Software, Inc. currently markets two database engine products:

Product Description
DBISAM Our established and mature database engine product that primarily targets Delphi and C++Builder developers. It supports a subset of the ANSI SQL-92 standard, and can operate in local, file-sharing, and client-server modes.
ElevateDB Our next generation database engine product that targets Delphi, C++Builder, Visual Studio developers, as well as any developer using .NET data providers or ODBC drivers for database access, such as Java or PHP. It supports most of the ANSI SQL:2003 standard, is available in ANSI/MBCS and Unicode (UTF-16) versions, and can operate in local, file-sharing, and client-server modes.

Tim has been developing software since 1987 using Clipper, FoxPro, C/C++, Delphi, Java/Javascript, and C# on DOS, Windows, and Linux.
