User:Ucucha

I am a software engineer in Mountain View, California. I studied biology in college, and for the past few years I've been involved in paleontological research. Here on Wikipedia, most of my contributions are about mammals, especially Malagasy mammals and the American rice rats. See User:Ucucha/Recognized content for a list of articles I've written or worked on, and User:Ucucha/Long term for topics I'm working on.

I used to be a Wikipedia:Featured article candidates delegate, which meant that I could promote and archive nominations at that page. I am also a Wikipedia admin, which gives me a few additional buttons to do things like deleting pages and blocking vandals. That I am an admin shouldn't (but unfortunately often does) mean that I have a higher status in Wikipedia discussions.
